CID UNESCO Certificate Presentation & Celebration

The Kalmyk Heritage Center was honored to take part in a special evening celebrating the presentation of CID UNESCO Certificates on August 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM. We were truly delighted to be part of this beautiful and meaningful event.

The evening brought together representatives of three closely connected cultures—Oirat-Kalmyks, Buryats, and Sakha-Yakuts—for a unique celebration of dance, music, and cultural heritage.

We were especially honored to share the evening with our guest of honor, the UN Women Guild.

A heartfelt thank you to our special guests, all the wonderful performing ensembles, and our dedicated volunteers who helped make the evening so memorable.

The ceremony recognized professional achievements and contributions to the international dance community, followed by a special mini concert celebrating the beauty and diversity of dance, music, and cultural heritage.

Presented by the New York International Dance Festival and the Kalmyk Heritage Center.
